I have just found amongst my mother's belongings a Keeneye boudoir doll which I know dates back to the early 1915's or so. Can anyone give me information about these dolls or point me to a website which will give me more info. Thanks.

Ive just recently been bitten with the boudoir dollie bug,. I love her legs- long and stuffed with straw. I am sewing a pants outfit for her now. Does anyone know how to gain more information on the keeneye dolls origins? I have hunted around and found a stamp on her back that reads
"HKS" and learned that victor keeney is the creator of this brand. She has blue eyes with real human hair and applied lashes. Also for repairing bed dolls (I have about five one in near mint and the others need tlc) should i use composition builder for big cracks? Thanks")")

Thats so neat. Thats a really nice doll (like the painting and everything) and the pic of the flattened out cape really helped me since I'm in a sewing class at school and have to do a simple project of making my own pattern.

I never understood the concept of the boudoir doll and why/how it was different. I could probably recognize one, but don't know why...hope you are feeling better!
