doll stand
I dropped off Ione with the photographer today- she gets her official portrait (slides). That meant I had to make a stand/seat for her.

This is the chair in progress. It is made of iron wire- I love working with wire; it’s like 3D line drawing. I’ll post a finished picture when she gets home again.

Hi! I’ve been following your blog for a while now — I just love it. I’m a cloth dollmaker also and have been wanting to add a blog to my site for quite a while but haven’t quite had the oomph to get going (and now is show season so of course time is tight).
I LOVE the chair — I’ve never seen anything like it. What sort of wire is it, and do you just wrap it around? Any chance you could show us some more detailed photos? Thanks for sharing your art and your life. Lori http://www.seastarstudio.com

I also want to know the gauge. I use a lot of wire and am constantly choosing the wrong gauge. Looks great.
Lori, Add a blog to your site, please! There are too few cloth doll blogs out there.
