fairies- wip
I was hoping to have finished these fairies by today, but that is unlikely with family and life and house and all.

free advise- don’t sew on an embellishment with lots of little beady things until you have finished all the rest of your sewing- your thread will get tangled in it with every stitch!

I love making these little flowers.

I am having trouble with this one’s hair- sometimes it feels like the doll is arguing with me… argh!

I ran into the tangly-thread thing with the Flower Bear. There was just no way around needing to sew on him after the flower was in place (sewing up the body opening after putting the head joint in. So I just gently wrapped his head up in cling film while I sewed. Slightly disturbing (poor little smothered bear), but effective.

Oh shame on them to argue you give them such beautiful hair styles. We all seem to argue with our dolls. Sometimes we get our way but most times they win the arguements LOL!

Mine always win! I think that I am creating them but really they evolve I just help them on their way. Your dolls are as beautiful as ever.

Solution for beady-things thread tanglers… wrap and scrunch them in a small piece of tin foil. It’s magic.
What is the green ruffly stuff? I love it for this doll… perfect!
Maybe your troublesome one is more of an imp than a fairy?
