trees

I love pollarded trees.   It is something one rarely sees in the US.

I noticed a lot of these trees in London- they look like they have ornaments hanging from them.

And here is what I’ve been working on.  Trees on the mind.  I didn’t get much done on my travels.

This photo is from my walk yesterday.  Chilly flamingos!

Glad to see you had such a wonderful time in London, although I must admit looking at the first picture in a previous posting, it looked like you must be in some exotic climate.

I went to the V&A in December and had forgotten how vast it was. Could have spend the whole 4 days there but having only visited London once in the last 15 yrs, I just had to look at all the other art work I could cram in 4 days. A Londoner born and bred, it made me very very homesick and just thinking about now, makes me more so.

The babies are looking good. Your creativity is boundless.

Those flamingos - the ones that did not migrate south I guess! Your babies are lovely, like little hibernating buds.

I have been away from blogging for a while and have not checked in on you.I wish that I had because I would have met you in london if I had known that you were coming. I am glad that you found some inspiration here will keep reading from now on.

Oh I have one of those “ornament trees” across the street from me in Brooklyn. I wonder what it is.

Mimi: I am surprised you havn’t made felt emboridered capes for those poor Flamingo’s ! They do look cold. The trees are very interesting. Have never seen one before. and your babe’s are lovely too. Love the trees embroidered on them.
