And poor parents! I am guessing we never ever lose our capacity to worry, no matter how big and strong and capable our children become. Plus, it's so essential, having a whole and functioning hand. I'm relieved that you're still making wonderful plans to do wonderful things, though, as that tells me the situation isn't too dire. I'm especially fond of the Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn -- it's pretty to walk around. My favorite place there is a restaurant (I think it's called the Chip Shop) that's fish and chips on one side and Indian cuisine on the other, and customers could mix and match, and drink amazing imported beverages I'd never heard of.
