I love the idea of putting glass in the door! We have an old house too and sometimes I just have to shake my head at some of the things previous hands have done. Keep up the great work!

I just painted my entire living room a color very close to the trim around your window. I love orange. I was a little scared to make such a bold statement in my living room, but I love it. Whenever I’m in there I just feel happy. It’s always such fun to change the look of a room. Yours looks like it’s going to be great.

I am impressed by you patience and perseverance. I have to take everything off of my unpainted shelves so that I could paint them. I was not patient enough.

Oh, I know what you mean- I live in a house built in 1917 and I feel more like a curator that an owner, sometimes. I do love this house.
