And the little project. I always seem to do these sort of projects before I go on a trip. Yep, I am going to South Carolina for a few days. Does anyone have any crafty recommendations for the Columbia area?
Hurray! My camera is back! I decided to make it a present- a cover/pouch for when I am carrying it around in my bag. The camera looks so clean and unscratched right now. Maybe this will help keep it that way.

Mimi don’t know the Columbia area well, but if you get near Charleston you might want to look for the Sweet Grass Baskets made by the Black Ladies. They are expensive, but so beautiful and the work they put into them. it is the only area in the US you will see them and MT Pleasant HWY 17 has many huts with them for sale as well as the Market in Charleston. You’ll find the ladies at the ends of the buildings selling and making them. I hope your trip to Columbia is a good one. It is starting to cool off there now so the weather should be more comfortable, I have been thinking about going down again myself. Have a wonderful trip. Is this for business or pleasure? I go for pleasure and do enjoy it.
