I am still catching up with the dolls I took to Washington DC! I’m back to work though so soon enough I will have some of the latest things.
Artist Boy Fox
He is an artist of the wander-out-in-nature variety. He has a portfolio on a strap, a sketch book inside, and a pencil in his pocket.
He has a cashmere scarf and sweater vest.
He is the last fox for now. Next up, tiny world pincushions.
Hiker Fox
A plaid fox because it is the perfect colors.
He is going out for a hike to do some amateur scientific research.

Here is his gorgeous vest-
He is made from an interesting reclaimed wool fabric. I bought an old wool kimono type garment at a yard sale at a local Japanese School. It had some moth holes and worn spots so I felt guiltless cutting it up and giving it a new life. It has a very interesting textured weave.

Bad Boy Fox
You know he’s a baddie because of the cigarette, right? I suspect that is an American cultural thing.
He is made from some of the hand-dyed (mimi-dyed) wool and so his color is variegated rusty red.

Green Plaid Jacket
And we continue with the foxes!
He is made out of a lovely bright orange wool, probably meant as a coat fabric. It is soft and dense and a dream to work with. The green wool plaid is from my trip to the Pendleton outlet when I was in Portland, OR. Great memories when I am sewing.
Fox Boy in a Corduroy Jacket
Nerdy boy fox. Or more like a commuter fox since he has his newspaper in his pocket.
This is my craziest time of year. I feel pretty frantic as I try to get ready for the CraftBoston show, try to keep up with my emails, do the product photos, etc, etc. The result is that I am not focusing on getting items into my etsy shop.
