I am at the point in my sewing-for-the-show where I am trying to fill in gaps in my inventory so I will be making a little of this and a little of that. On the table, a few ladies.
Hunting dogs, country houses, a swan-
I am working on 4 tattooed ladies. Here is the first.
She has a silk ribbon bow in her hair. I love this russet fabric with a printed subtle texture and now I am almost out of it. Does anyone know what it is? I want to see if I can track down some more.
She also has a silk ribbon at her waist, with a bow in the back. You can see the little star design on her clothes in the picture above.
Her arm tattoos-
This is the last tattooed lady for now.
2 silk bows in her hair and one at her back-
And she went off to a new home!
The available ladies are all in my Etsy shop now.
And something I think is amazing- on Saturday afternoon, I posted the group picture of the ladies to Flickr. When I got up on Sunday morning, I had a flurry of new followers on Flickr which was odd, so I went over to see what was up. The photo had had almost 20,000 views since I’d posted it less than 24hrs before. As of posting this, it has 37,855 views. Wow! It is pretty neat to think of all those people looking at my photo! Hurray for the internet!
Here are all the ladies. I will be putting them onto Etsy today, although all of them are no longer available.
She is the same pattern as #2.
When I reworked the pattern, I made curvy, curvier and curviest. These are curviest.
I am very happy with my new curvier and curviest. Curvy, not so much so you haven’t seen a finished one yet. Two out of three isn’t bad though and after my show next weekend I will get back to work on the design.
