These two are the last for now.
I love topiary- And felt topiary is SO much easier to deal with than the living kind!
My studio needs a massive clean and so that is going to occupy at least some of my (US) holiday weekend. If you are having a long weekend, hope you are doing something fun!
I was away for some family graduation festivities, then back to too much computer and other non-studio work, but I finally was able to get to my studio and finish a few more Tiny Worlds.
The other Tiny Worlds are in my Etsy shop, these and 2 more that I need to photograph tomorrow, should be listed by the end of the day tomorrow.
This one is bigger than the cups- a bigger house and more trees too. It’s a little house in the woods. In a beautiful Portuguese bowl.
And here is a better photo of the front of the bowl-
Two more flowery cups.
This one is flowers, mid-century modern.
This one, classic transfer ware.
Teacups with flowers are most of the tea cups I can get. It works well with my fantasy gardens.
This very delicate teacup has what I think are sweet peas, but I gave it a topiary garden.
I was scheduled to do a Tiny World Pincushion class but we didn’t get enough people to run it. Timing is always a mystery when planning these things. When I am expecting to teach, I get out all my materials and get to work. That way I have fresh memories of the process. So, the result of teaching is always some new finished pieces. Whenever I get going on the Tiny Worlds, it is hard to stop!
and #2 which I think of as Cabin in the woods.
These are the last 2 for now. I will be putting all of them into my etsy shop later today.
Lots of times I find nice cups that have no saucers. Some days I think it’s fine, other days not. Well, these ones came home and have their own little worlds now.
Can you see that this cup has Paul Revere on his famous ride?
This one is a summer flower garden of roses- how could I resist!
I have put my tiny world pattern back in my Etsy shop and it is on sale for $8 for a few days. Also, I will be putting all of these pin cushions in the shop, hopefully by tomorrow night.
They keep on coming-
I’d actually made most of this one, more than a year ago but finished it up with the butterflies.
