The unlimited transit path is the best.<\/p>\n<p>Great storefront!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mimikirchner.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/02\/ny1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1217\" title=\"ny1\" src=\"https:\/\/mimikirchner.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/02\/ny1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"449\" height=\"597\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I went to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.folkartmuseum.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Folk Art Museum<\/a> and saw a show of paintings by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.artnet.com\/artist\/13459\/ammi-phillips.html\" target=\"_blank\">Ammi Phillips<\/a>. Excellent. I always like to visit the gift shop at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.moma.org\/\">MOMA<\/a>&#8211; lots of excellent design. And it is right across the street from the Folk Art Museum so why resist?<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bgc.bard.edu\/programs\/exhibit_events.shtml#\" target=\"_blank\">embroidery show<\/a> was well worth the trip uptown. It was all a little overwhelming- the kind of show that I&#8217;d rather visit several times because there is so much to absorb.<\/p>\n<p>Here are some pictures of Central Park- it is always a surprise to me- how there can be this space in the middle of Manhattan.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mimikirchner.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/02\/ny2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1218\" title=\"ny2\" src=\"https:\/\/mimikirchner.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/02\/ny2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"449\" height=\"337\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mimikirchner.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/02\/ny3.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1219\" title=\"ny3\" src=\"https:\/\/mimikirchner.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/02\/ny3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"449\" height=\"337\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We spent lots of time on a bus, looking out windows, enjoying neighborhoods.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mimikirchner.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/02\/ny4.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1220\" title=\"ny4\" src=\"https:\/\/mimikirchner.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/02\/ny4.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"449\" height=\"337\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Isn&#8217;t it amazing that NY really looks like this?<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mimikirchner.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/02\/ny5.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1221\" title=\"ny5\" src=\"https:\/\/mimikirchner.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/02\/ny5.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"449\" height=\"337\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mimikirchner.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/02\/ny6.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1222\" title=\"ny6\" src=\"https:\/\/mimikirchner.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/02\/ny6.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"449\" height=\"337\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mimikirchner.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/02\/ny7.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1223\" title=\"ny7\" src=\"https:\/\/mimikirchner.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/02\/ny7.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"449\" height=\"337\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And we got home on Saturday night. It was a great trip and already I can&#8217;t wait to return.\u00c2\u00a0 I have been back up in my studio, so I hope I will have some new doll work to show by the end of the week. Goal of the week?
