She asked me for recommendations for &#8220;can&#8217;t miss&#8221; crafting related places- for shopping and for inspiration- in the New England area. I have some places that I&#8217;ve been to and like, but I thought I would do a general shout out and then organize and make a page with all of your suggestions too. If you know of fun, inspiring, off-beat, esoteric or whatever places in NE, add them to the comments. Thanks!<\/p>\n<p>I did a quick look through my postings that were in the <a href=\"https:\/\/mimikirchner.com\/blog\/archives\/category\/resources\/\">resources<\/a> category and came up with these-<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mimikirchner.com\/blog\/archives\/2005\/05\/expedition\/\">Vintage and Antique Textiles<\/a> in Sturbridge, MA. Unfortunately the Wright Factory Outlet has closed.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mimikirchner.com\/blog\/archives\/2006\/11\/back-to-work-sort-of\/\">The Fiber Studio<\/a> in Henniker, NH<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mimikirchner.com\/blog\/archives\/2009\/09\/expedition-to-new-hampshire\/\">The Dorr Mill Store<\/a> in Newport, NH (Yikes, they are having a Columbus Day Weekend Sale!)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mimikirchner.com\/blog\/archives\/2009\/10\/getting-serious-about-october\/\">Camp Wool<\/a> in Wells, Maine<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.whispering-hill.com\/\">Whispering Hill Farm in<\/a> South Woodstock, CT<\/p>\n<p>and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vintageandantiquetextiles.com\/nottobemissed.htm\">here is a list<\/a> with some suggestions.
