Lois did a demonstration\/workshop of weaving little paper baskets- suitable for dolls to carry.  I was reading through my blogs this evening and came across <a href=\"http:\/\/housewife.splinder.com\/1109835687#4203765\">this<\/a> great post about paper weaving on <a href=\"http:\/\/housewife.splinder.com\/\">Art For Housewives<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/mimikirchner.com\/blog\/images\/3:3:2dolls.jpg\" alt=\"2 dolls\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Here is my Gourd head doll, Hope, holding the basket.  I took Hope to the meeting because this summer I will teach a 2 day workshop on making a gourd head child doll.  This will be my first workshop teaching experience!  By doing it through my doll club, I am hoping they will be patient and understanding&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>I am making progress on the blue sweater- I have started the sleeves.  I like how the color patterning is working.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mimikirchner.com\/blog\/archives\/2005\/01\/kitty-4\/\">Kitty #4<\/a> found a new home today with Jean from Doll Club.
