{"id":436,"date":"2006-02-10T13:10:02","date_gmt":"2006-02-10T18:10:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mimikirchner.com\/blog\/archives\/2006\/02\/excuses\/"},"modified":"2006-02-10T13:10:02","modified_gmt":"2006-02-10T18:10:02","slug":"excuses","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mimikirchner.com\/blog\/archives\/2006\/02\/excuses\/","title":{"rendered":"excuses"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It has been an unusually social week for me- house guest, <a href=\"https:\/\/mimikirchner.com\/blog\/archives\/2006\/02\/valentines\/\">valentine party<\/a>, lunches with friends, and visiting the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.schooloffashiondesign.org\/\">School of Fashion Design<\/a> in Boston on Wednesday.  I was invited by a friend who teaches there, to show my dolls to her class.  It was great fun!  Here are some photos I took while I was there-<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/mimikirchner.com\/blog\/images\/2:9:mannequin1.jpg\" alt=\"fashion1\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/mimikirchner.com\/blog\/images\/2:9:mannequin2.jpg\" alt=\"fashion2\" \/><\/p>\n<p>On Thursday, I met up with another friend to get some framing done- I am trading her one of my dolls for a print-<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/mimikirchner.com\/blog\/images\/2:9:frame.jpg\" alt=\"carlyn\" \/><\/p>\n<p>All this is an excuse for why I don&#8217;t have any dolls to show- I had such big plans a week ago!  In reality I haven&#8217;t even got things sorted out and back together since <a href=\"https:\/\/mimikirchner.com\/blog\/archives\/2006\/02\/how-it-really-works\/\">last week<\/a> when I tore everything apart in search of white wool fabric.
