I&#8217;m so glad we got to meet and become friends while she was here.  Someday I will get to Portugal and sit around in her house and talk dolls again.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"pie\" src=\"https:\/\/mimikirchner.com\/blog\/images\/10:16:pie.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Today, a friend from my doll club spent the day with me and we worked on robot dolls together.  She wants me to make a pattern, but since that is unlikely to happen in the near future, I figured I&#8217;d just show her what I do.  It was a great day.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"robots\" src=\"https:\/\/mimikirchner.com\/blog\/images\/10:16:robots.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>And look at the great stuff she brought me- buttons<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"buttons\" src=\"https:\/\/mimikirchner.com\/blog\/images\/10:16:buttons.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>and beautiful vintage ribbons-<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"ribbons\" src=\"https:\/\/mimikirchner.com\/blog\/images\/10:16:ribbon.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Some other fun stuff too, but not so pretty for photos!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Last night was a farewell dinner with Mary before she returns to Portugal.
