There were so many buds this year that the blooming lasted longer then usual.  The ones still blooming last weekend were on the lower branches.  Also, this is the first time I remember the tree peony bloom time overlapping with the herbaceous peony.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"image918\" alt=\"64treepeony.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/mimikirchner.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/06\/64treepeony.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The regular peonies are all in bloom right now-<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"image917\" alt=\"64peony.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/mimikirchner.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/06\/64peony.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>the buds are wonderful!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"image914\" alt=\"64bud.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/mimikirchner.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/06\/64bud.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Baptisia, or false indigo-<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"image913\" alt=\"64baptisa.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/mimikirchner.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/06\/64baptisa.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Gas plant (dictamnus)-<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"image915\" alt=\"64gasplant.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/mimikirchner.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/06\/64gasplant.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>and the shady greens-<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"image916\" alt=\"64green.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/mimikirchner.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/06\/64green.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>And the roses are starting!
