Ione- pictures
Finally- the pictures! I took this picture of her standing, using a commercial doll stand.
I think I will make her a sitting stand- I think she looks much better sitting-
Getting a picture with the color just right was impossible. These all seem a little washed out to me,
although this one is probably the best.
I am happy with her. Especially…
-her hair
-to have made something new out of a very damaged, moth-eaten coat
-making a doll without a happy face
-and her hat

Excellent! And I agree with you about what you should be pleased with. I really like that coat. Still love the shoes, tho, and the expression on her face.

She is beautiful and makes me think of Miss Happiness and Miss Plum, the Rumer Godden book about 2 Japanese dolls. Her waif-y hair and expression are lovely.

She’s wonderful! I like her sitting better too, easier to see her clothes. She does remind me of Violet from A Series of Unfortunate Events.

She’s fantastic! I love her melancholy expression. I like her posed sitting, because it shows more of her clothes underneath that perfect little coat. She really is just perfect.

hi, i randomly stumbled across your page and have to say i was really surprised to find a doll like me….! my name is ione and i have the same hair as your doll and often a similar expression….! great work, why did you call her ione out of interest?!
