I’ve started an album to put photos of my holiday inventory. Everything is $32 each- the dolls and the pins. I experimented with ways of showing scale… it is very hard. Got any opinions on what works best?

They all look fantastic. In terms of showing scale I think that you’ve done well. The ruler is good, as to is putting them in your hand. The other one the would work with the bugs is to put a matchbox beside them (I imagine that they’d be just a bit bigger).

They do look great! As an international customer the coin would be pretty useless for me as I have no idea how big it is. I like the ruler (but again we measure in centimetres not inches — but still have a pretty good idea about the size of an inch). Where did you find the sweet little flowers? I have been looking everywhere for that kind of vintage flower but usually can only find the awful tacky ones.

About scale I prefer the style of the bugs against the keyboard, and maybe dolls against an object that everyone knows the size, maybe cups, pencils, earrings, or… whatever
that way you can still be artistic in your pics.
