The sale went really well yesterday. It is a long and tiring day, but I know lots of the other people who were selling their work and lots of the people who came and shopped. It is a very local and social event and I would have had a good day even if I hadn’t sold anything! The round table worked out very well with the only drawback being that I didn’t know where to stand. Here was my table at the beginning of the day-
People were enthusiastic about the work. I sold a good amount of my work- not so much that I am worried that I’ll have to kill myself for the next sale in a month, but enough that I was surprised and pleased when I counted up at the end of the day. Today I’m going on an expedition up to New Hampshire to the Fiber Studio to spend some of my money!
Love your set up on the round table! Sounds like this was a great event!
Also, what is that little folder there with the pictures? Does that have postcards for people? Just wondering.
Dear Mimi-
I was at the sale last night and I just wanted to write and tell you how much I love your work! Your attention to detail is really amazing to me. I’m really interested in sewing dolls and animals, although I’m in more of a quilting phase right now. I didn’t buy anything last night because I was trying to be thrifty, but I kind of regret it now, I can’t get the Santas out of my mind! I love the ladies and Little Red Riding Hood too.
Anyway, since I think we are neighbors I may see if I can stop by some other time to buy one of those guys.
Is your next sale the Waldorf School one? I’m planning to go with a friend so I’ll have to introduce myself then.
I’m really enjoying looking at your blog too!

Hello again,
I’m commenting a lot on this blog! Your set up looks good Mimi.
I’m glad the selling went well. I too wonder if you sell cards or postcards. These are such a good way to bring enough change into the stand to pay for the costs.
Thanks again for all the excellent information you give me. You are a fountain of doll knowledge.
Your table looks amazing. I can’t imagine walking by and not buying something. I especially love your men and women. They are so – I don’t know – graceful somehow. And I love those cheeky babies too. They looky very huggable. Beautiful stuff …
oh how i would have loved to have been there!! your set-up looks so inviting mimi…happy to hear it was a success!! what fun it would be to walk away with that basket of babies!! so darling :)
Glad you got one of my bird ATCs. :)
I keep coming back to look at your Little Red Riding Hoods. They make me smile.
