back from London

I’m back! There is so much to catch up on- isn’t that always the way.

It was Spring in London.

It was hard to come back to this-

I had a great time- went to the Victoria and Albert, Liberty’s, the Tate, walked my feet off, got my money’s worth from my Travelcard, met up with Shashi, did very little shopping but lots of looking.

This is what I brought home-

fantastic Liberty fabric – a vacation indulgence.

and nostalgic yumminess-

some of that bunch will be sent on to kiddos.  I am trying to catch up on my sleep so that I can think clearly again.

  1. Glad you got back safely without any travel problems. It was so good to meet up with you and those 2 hrs went so fast. Hope you make it to London again sometime in the future. Loved looking at your lovely DIPs hope you found time to do more on them and thank you for your lovely ATC

  2. OK, your new fabric makes me want to jump on a plane to Heathrow right away. Isn’t that store amazing? If I had a billion trillion dollars, I would spend it all there.

  3. Welcome home! Love that liberty fabric and those smarties, I miss those from home (Australia). Glad you had a fun trip, hope to meet up soon.

  4. daffodils!! oh gawd, we’ve got, maybe, 2 more months until we get ours… *sigh*
it sounds like you had a nice trip, maybe we’ll be able to read more?

  5. Lovely daffs! And I’ve been ogling that Liberty floral at one of our local indie fabric stores for months now. Excellent score indeed.

. . . And I must admit to a burning curiosity about anything labeled “Nobbly, Oaty Biscuits!”

  6. Those Liberty fabrics are stunning. Great choices! And those McVitie’s biscuits are making my mouth water. We lived in France for three years and we became friends with a Scottish woman there who introduced us to the joys of McVitie’s. I miss them!
