Owls that is.
Blue-gray owl-
And an Orange and brown owl-
And this is the other star of the pattern- the snowy owl-
I have one more that I am finishing up right now. When I was cleaning up my table in anticipation of having company, I found another owl body, already sewn up. I figured I might as well finish it!
I am hoping to have to edits done and the pattern ready for sale by mid-week. I will list all of these birdies on Etsy on the same day.
I am in love with the Snowy Owls – they speak to me :-)
Are you going to make us wait until next week before you announce the pattern name?
Yes! I will announce the name when I announce the pattern is available- and that is for no other reason than I am indecisive!
I love them all, but the Snowy is my favorite! I love his fuzz-factor. Very timely, too, as I just saw “Legends of the Guardians, the Owls of Ga’hooole” on DVD(recommended…not a kids flick despite being animated).
The owls are absolutely fabulous…..I love all of your work:)
this little snow owl made me gasp…. he is beautiful….

Mimi, the materials you choose are so lovely and add so much interest and personality to your owls. What a great pattern this will be!
You’re working up the entire parliament, I see! Fantastic work!
lovely! all the birds are wonderful and really looking forward to seeing them on etsy and the pattern too!
I absolutely love these stuffed owls – they look so solid – almost like what are those things called, ironing “hams”?
Just great. You’re right, the Snowy Owl sort of steals the show, doesn’t he?!
