This is Poppy, my girl #4. She is also 19″ tall. She is wool- her pink body fabric is wool crepe, her flesh tone fabric is cashmere. Her hair is from knit wool sweater.
She is decorated with wool cut-outs.
Here is the back view of her hair-
This was the doll where I figured out the hair. It is a 2 piece pattern with a dart. I am very pleased- it is flexible enough that once I figured it out, I was able to use the same pattern for the rest of the dolls. And have slightly different hair-dos.
I love her!
Oh she is such a sweety!
Beautiful attention to detail!
Your dolls are all be dressed exquisitely! I especially like the redhead with the purple and green – reminds me of my daughter. Also, just listened to part one of your interview. You know how you get a visual of someone? After hearing you, I just know I was WAY off! Anyway, it was fascinating to listen to your story of the paths you took before you arrived at your passion.
Again with the hair.
Oh Mimi she’s so sweet looking! I really like the little floral decorations. They add that little something extra that makes them complete. :-)
flesh tone, cashmere…love that (i know it says fabric, but i read it wrong the first time) i want cashmere fleshtone, that is the box i will check on the next census even though my fleshtone is tulle or perhaps linen on my more serene days…
she’s gorgeous!
I love pink! I can’t decide which doll is my favourite!
oh why can’t I live ’round the corner from you? I would love to watch you creating one of these beautiful dolls. They are amazing, if you ever move to Australia, I will bring the coffee and cake! :-)
My favorite!
oh, but poppy girl is really sweet too!! (obviously i’m behind here)
Gorgeous!
