So, all these Tiny Worlds? I’ve been making them all for the Holiday window of Gather Here, my favorite local fabric/yarn store. We set it up this morning.
I will go back when it isn’t raining and there is no glare on the glass so I can post better shots of the finished window. Here are the last of the tiny worlds that I made for it.
And then I tried out some new ideas! A castle in a gold tea cup-
This one has the garden I’ve always wanted. It was a challenge to photograph all the topiary.
And lastly, I stayed up late last night to finish this one. That meant that with the rain this morning, there was no way to take a good picture. But, here it is in the window, a tiny town on a hill!
Love love love them all!
Amazing. Love them all but the castle and tiny town are really stunning.
no way! I haven’t ‘loved’ the tiny towns til now! the castle!!! the topiary!!!! the village!!!!!! OMG they are beautiful.
They are all great! Really love the topiary & the tiny town on a hill!!! :)
Just had to tell you I love everything. But the castle, and the little village are absolutely wonderful!! Your work is incredible. I am happy everytime I see an email from your site. Thank you for sharing your talent with us all. I also keep checking back at the scrappy Owl. It seems as though he is ready to ask me a question!!!! Thanks again.
Adorable! I wish you were closer, Mimi, as then I would leave little parcels of found cups-and-saucers on your doorstep, just to see how you transformed them. :))
Sighhhh. Wish I could see them in person in the window display. I love looking at special Christmas shop windows, and the tiny worlds are so imaginative. I always love all the variety of stitches you use to get different effects. Just lovely.
What a perfect window display, Mimi! I like background, with the hills of snow, too.
I love them all Mimi, but I would dearly like to own the topiary garden one–just lovely xxxx
Oh my Mimi! I am enchanted. Love love love the topiary garden and the tiny town. Such beautiful intricate work. How you inspire.
Ohhh those new tiny worlds are amazing! I loved the ones with the ‘normal’ houses already, but these are an extra.. What a nice sight to start my day with.. Thank you for inspiring us with nice, wellmade crafts!
I just wanted to let you know that I really like all your pincushions, they are so cute.
I saw these when I went to take a class there on Monday evening and they looked so lovely shining out into the darkness. Congratulations. They look fantastic.
