My desk this morning- several dolls in progress-
Jobs to be done- post some tiny worlds on Etsy–
I love these pins– seen on the Storque.
This is sad. I knew Blair Lent. He had a studio in the same building where I worked back in the late 80’s to mid 90’s. At the time, he was working on his book about Boston’s great Molasses Flood.
I’m happy to see you back in your studio and to see your dolls-in-progress. I’ve spent the last week on a doll, and last night finally realized that that head does not belong on that body. So now, a new body for the head, a new head for the body. It’s the first time I’ve had more than one doll in progress, and it was by accident. But I see you often have several dolls in progress at one time. Is it a matter of efficiency, I wonder, or simply the way you enjoy working?
Gasp… do I see mermaids?
I was also grieved to read about Blair Lent. I loved his work.
I love your dolls and tiny worlds….wish I was near Boston to do an intership with you! Really nice creations….
