Yes we had a great time in Montreal. I guess my IPad cover loved it enough to stay. I don’t know how it happened but it got lost. Bummer.

As usual I couldn’t get the red right in the photo. The sleeve is made from 2mm dark red wool felt. The bit on the top is 2mm gray. It closes with elastic and a felt button. I might change that to a real button. I’m in the testing stage.
Is that button just a single layer of felt, Mimi? I’ll be interested to hear how you get on with it. Love the look of felt buttons but have limited experience.

There are people on Etsy who sell it- search 2mm wool felt. I have discovered that if I take my 1mm wool felt and put it through the washing machine, it turns into 2 mm felt (approx). I bought the felt I used for this project from http://www.filzfelt.com/
They are local to me so I didn’t have to mail-order.
