the next few days

next year I might number my dolls so I don’t have to think up names and/or titles for the posts or pictures!

I had hoped to finish this guy before the show yesterday. He had been languishing, unstuffed, in my corner of unfinished dolls. Didn’t quite happen, so instead I brought him along and worked on him during quiet moments and got him mostly done- then finished him up today.

And I took this photo of the two ladies together because Robin asked :)

I am going down to Connecticut for a few days to see family. I will do an Etsy shop update on Thursday around noon EST with some things I’ve made in the past few weeks that are available. There will be 2 lady dolls, the pirate and a snow scene pincushion.

  1. Oh he is just gorgeous! Very illustrated man. I hope you will do the entire carnival horses and riders and mermaids and all. The pictures would make amazing cards and the whole set would make a fantastic coffee table book.
I think your dolls are some of the loveliest and heartfelt that I have ever seen.

  2. How fun to see the photo of your booth below, your dolls are much bigger than one thinks! The ladies are magnificent and really speaks to me, I wish you’d design a fabric or dress like those for real people too! And their shoes are so cute, great photo also. Enough praise. Take care! :-)

  3. It is fun to see the finished product. You were working on him at the market. Thanks for mentioning me on your blog. It was a fun day and great to share the booth with you and hang with the BHer’s

  5. hello!
I just saw your tattooed man doll in Craft magazine (it just came a couple of days ago) and I have to say i’m enamored with your work!

    Soooo wonderful.
Would it be ok with you if I blogged about it and put a link on my blog?
I’m a teacher and write and I blog about my writing but also about my venture into crafting (I mostly do collage/postcards).

Anyway, I can’t get over how cool your work is. So inspiring.
