I kept thinking about the green man while making this baby.
I am trying to finish up various partly finished dolls in my studio- that is why things are jumping around a bit.

Very cute! I made some babies very much like this one but not as fancy. They were plain country babies about the size of a potato-they looked like babies in the hospital nursery. My granddaughter loves to play with them. I like how you add the birds to yours very sweet!

Beautiful! There are the most Amazing Green Man roof bosses in the cathedral in Norwich. One in particular peeks out from gilded leaves. I’ll try to find a picture to send to you. I love that these little pagans are hiding away in christian buidings, in rooves, under misericords, carved into furniture. It shows the pragmatism and humour of the masons and carpenters who were building 900 years ago. This baby would look very at home amongst them! t.xx
