Here they are- all 4.
Owl #3-
and owl #4-
and here is the story. You know I am going to be in Chicago for the Renegade Market in September, right? I was thrilled to be invited to take part in a show/contest to do my interpretation of the Renegade owl logo. The show will be going on in their Spotlight Gallery from 9/4 through 10/3 which overlaps the Market. There will be an opening, voting involved and a prize. Now for the hard part. I’ve got to pick one of these cuties to send! Ahhhh- decisions! I am definitely open to opinions…
oh, and btw, someone asked about a pattern. I think this would be a really fun pattern. I will get to work on it when I am back from Chicago, so hopefully we’d be looking at mid-October.
I vote for owl#4 and a pattern! My son has already fallen in love with them and wants one of his own. :)
Okay – on the bench lineup I vote for owl #2! These are too adorable – and the ear tufts are so cute!
While my personal favorite owl is #3, my vote is for #4 as that one reminds me the most of the logo, I think that the eyes and the fabric for the owls front are quite evocative of the “renegade owl”.
And what a perfect pattern for the middle of autumn and before Halloween
I vote for #4, too. He has the sweetest expression! (although I do still love Angry Owl)
I just love all your owls. I can’t pick a favorite.
Ohhhh!! These will sell real well at Renegade for sure! For the contest, it’s a tough decision…but I’d say the little brown one with the yellow face..owl #4? Good luck on the prize! :)
In pick #4 Grat expresion. They are all wonderful.
Love them! Their eyes look just like my crazy little cat’s :)
I love them all equally….how can I choose?
i’m glad you didn’t keep us waiting too long with your secret! what a fun contest and good for you to go after it! i have to go with #3…i see it most in the eyes, and something about 3 being the only one with it’s furroughed brow being so well defined.
good luck getting ready. it will be here before you know it!!
I’m in love … I want one MImi … glad you’re making a pattern! and I choose (if it means anything) #4 …
Oh my gosh these are so cute. I’m partial to owl number 4. It seems to have an attitude and I like that!
I vote for Owl #2. Although, all are cute
Number 4 without a doubt, his ayes are so cheerful, and number 2 looks mad.
Owl #4 just jumped right out of the computer and into my heart! Pattern sounds like a great idea!
I am captivated by #4’s ear tufts :D He gets my vote, after much deliberation and indecision…
I’m loving #4, although #3 is a close second!
Owl 4 for the contest. They are all great – such fun facial expressions.
Love owl #3! well done
#4 looks most like their owl, love his ear hair. My favourite is still #1, frowny.
Owl number 3 is definitely not getting enough love!
Number four without a doubt!!
Hard to choose. But pressed to make a decision, #4 gets my vote.
Owl #3 looks closest to Renegade logo. My personal favorite is #4. Reminds me of an old grandpa – tufts in the ears, dressed in a mix of patterns, good size nose(beak), wide eyed look…. all it need is a pipe. Love it!!
Love the ears on the last owl. They all have personality and expression.
These are all fantastic in their own right and all have their own owly personalities. On the bench, the first and and last owls look angry, hungry or ready for some serious owl business. Numbers two and three look like they would enjoy the fair. I guess, if I had to choose between the two, it would be for number two. He looks like a chubby, party animal and I can so see him in a party hat. One and four, never!
I like #3. I like the stitching on the face.
