This one has a thatched roof and hopefully an English Cottage look.

And this one inspired me to try some new flower patterns.

I’ve added the first 6 cups into my Etsy shop here.

This mug came from the same friend who gave me the demitasse cap in the last post. It is a different design and just as beautiful.
I might make another one of these tents before I finish this batch. We shall see how long I stay motivated! I liked how the campfire turned out. This is the last campsite cup I made.
This cup and saucer came from my friend Betsy who was cleaning out her Mom’s apartment. It is a small, demitasse or espresso size.
This cup (below) was from another friend. Another house being cleared out. It seems like the pandemic inspired a lot of clearing out of stuff.
I have acquired some very pretty teacups in the last year or so and I’m excited to turn them into something new!
I got a shoebox full of these cups and saucers from my neighbor who was clearing out her house.
And this teacup (below) came from the one thrifting expedition that I have done in the last 18 months or so.
It is fun to completely change gears! Of course changing gears in my world can be sort of messy…
And I have grandkitty Hattie staying in the house these days- she is helping me out :-)
These two are #15 and #16 of this batch. Wow, that’s a lot! Also, they are the last of this group. I will be cleaning up my tiny world mess and start up on some new kind of mess next week!
I am getting to the end of these. I think (?) there will be just 2 more after this. Once I get going on a roll, it can be hard to stop but I am ready for something different.
I have been adding these to my Etsy shop as I go along. Most of then are in there now.
I made one of these a million years ago. I thought it was time to try again.
Here she is, up in her tower-
I liked this view because you can see the spiral walking path.
And a Red-haired Rapunzel-
Isn’t that cup gorgeous?!
Another top view.
I hope that all my US friends can get some relaxing in on this long weekend. I spent yesterday working in the garden and now everything hurts!
Two tropical islands to dream about.
I haven’t made any like this for a lot of years.
There are still more in the pipeline. Be back soon- as long as it isn’t dark and rainy and I can’t take pics!
I seem to be on a kick of imaginary vacation spots.
I’ve never made one like this before so a new adventure! Let’s go camping!
Next up in the pincushion world, what I’m dreaming about during these quarantimes. A getaway in the forest!
And #2 cabin choice for my imaginary vacation-
This cup is truly getting a new life because it has a major chip in the rim so could no longer function in it’s original purpose. I get a special delight when I transform a mug like this. I mean, it is so pretty! It’d be sad if it ended up in the trash.
