It is pretty darn hot here but maybe not so much where he is from which might explain his hat.

Here he is without his hat-

His kilt is removable and he has navy and white shorts underneath.

Working on these fellows is definitely more fun than the fiddly work of the pattern making so more men ahead!

His trousers have tiny stars on them. Love that fabric. His hair is dark brown and is over-dyed grid pattern but so dark that it doesn’t show up in the photos.

I made this fellow along side the other one. He is made with essentially all the same design choices but in different fabrics. It was fun to work on the 2 together.

I like how the graphics on the beard fabric sort of matches the drawing of the toile.

There is this thing- I work away in the evening and I am finishing something. It is maybe 10 pm. I look and am convinced that the piece is an unsalvageable disaster. I have learned though. Step away. Give it another look in the morning. Yes, everything is going to be okay…

This is my work table-

I’ve got a whole lotta man going on! Yep, there are the ones that are moving forward first, stuffed and standing. Then there are the flat ones in the front, waiting to be stuffed. There are a few that still need a few parts cut out and to be sewn up. All the stages of the tattooed men.
