I am relearning how to edit my photos in the Apple photo application and so things might be a little bit weird for a while.

I love picking out just the right button/belt buckle from my collection of mostly vintage and antique buttons.

let’s get going again

I had to get a new computer, which is not my idea of fun. There are so many things to relearn. That is why there haven’t been any posts. Well, that, and a trip to Chicago for a long weekend. And starting up the design process for another ornament line (2016) for West Elm! (I am stopping right now and doing some fist pumps- YEAH! So excited!)

Anyway, I finally figured out enough to post some new fellows.

I’ll be back soon with some more!

tattooed men again- colors!

The first time I used this type of fabric, I wasn’t sure if I was comfortable getting away from the classic toile tattoos. In the end, I decided it was great. So much so that I ordered a bunch more and dyed it up, including some ladies. Now, I am finally getting the men put together.

Here is a slightly out-of-focus shot where you can see the color of his beard.

He has a big antique shell button for his belt buckle.

Lumberjack for December

I am getting to the last dolls of the year here. Some I am waiting to post until after Christmas since I don’t want to ruin any surprises. This fellow will be going into my etsy shop right after I post this.

This toile is wonderful- I love the sailing port imagery. He has wool felt suspenders with embroidered decoration. And an axe of course.
