I’ve been thinking about how to make a doll with braids- not with yarn but with the same fabric as the scalp hair.
Doesn’t she look like the big sister?

She really does look like a big sister! Love her eyes. Slanted out of the corner of her eyes watching her mischevious little brother! Love it!
hi mimi!
oh they are all wonderful! i love everyhting about them including how their knees bend!
amazing!
You make beautiful dolls!!!
I continue loving everything you do….
Oh Mimi, as soon as I saw that I though some of your embroidery could make them look like little plaits. Do I need to say you astound me? every single time …astounding!
Maybe they are waiting at the bus stop together, or walking to school…
Mimi, one of your dolls is front page on Etsy right now -1pm Australian time.
Hello Mimi, I love your dolls. The embroidery and working with wool. They are just wonderful.
Oh my gosh! They are so darling Mimi! Yes, she looks very much like the big sister, with her gaze to the side, watching her brother. So charming.
Do your (gorgeous) dolls sit without propping? Or are the props cleverly hidden in these lovely photos?
thank you so much for the pattern at purl bee. I now have a gift for the little girls at the Orphanage.
