Like I said a few posts ago, all kinds of busy around here. Now, fish.
2 more fish in November
I’m working on getting some things finished. The computer and the Cody Foster nonsense is very distracting and disheartening. I can’t help it. It makes it very difficult to concentrate on my artwork. This is the latest with a statement from CF.
November fish 1 & 2
Two fish with some overlapping fabrics. The red in both fish is from a Hudson Bay blanket. The blue fish body is from an old Mexican rug, wool with a cotton warp.
Something else I’ve been meaning to post. My yellow dog was cover boy on the October Land Of Nod catalog!
and on the back too!
My 2013 line includes these 3 dogs and also 3 little mermaids. The mermaids are very small- on about 10″ tall. So cute! I hear they are going to have a pop-up store this year in the Boston area so hopefully I will be able to see them in person!

These 3 are actually from the last batch I sewed up. The bin gets emptied out and then filled again.
I think you can see the middle fish a bit better in this pic.
note– I won’t be adding anything to my Etsy shop until I get back from Washington, DC at the end of the month. No Time!!
September fish
Step by step. These photos are from my phone- sorry about the bad focus on some.
17 fish- all the pieces cut out and piled.
Step 2- 10 are sewed up and ready to be turned. 7 are bagged and put into the fish bin for later.
Step 3- turned right-side out.
Step 4- stuffed and finished!
And there will be more fish tomorrow!
August fish
A new batch of fish for August-
The top one is made from an old Hudson Bay blanket. Love that!

It is fun to finish up a group that takes hours instead of days like the lumberjacks!
Next, dogs. I’m at the cutting and sewing stage. I hope to actually finish some up soon.

The fins of the top fish are purple but they are dark and so hard to see the right color.
