He is made of a reclaimed wool sweater and knits always make for a rounder (chubbier) doll.
Here he is standing amongst the alium foliage. In just a few more weeks, all the foliage will be gone and this will be a sea of purple lollipops!
I had to make 2 jackets to get one to fit- the first one was just a bit too tight and he looked so uncomfortable!
This fellow was a special request, based on a child’s drawing. I’ve never done that before but the vision in the drawing was right up my alley!
Yes, he has binoculars. And a green striped sweater vest and a dark red bow tie.

When I am finishing up one of my characters, I think about who they are. For some reason this one seemed like a reporter. Here he is, checking out the Spring flower report. Violets in bloom!

I love soft baby corduroy and it looks so perfect on a fox.
This fox fellow is rather understated on the outside, but under that green jacket? Snazzy!

I LOVE this Skinny Laminx fabric for Cloud9. I’ve made myself a smock out of the red, I’ve got some blue/green for something (stash?) and now, here is my fox dress!
She has on a dress made of vintage Laura Ashley fabric, a seersucker jacket with checked highlights (collar, cuffs and pocket), and a wool felt purse. Her jacket has embroidered button hole loops.

I know ALL foxes ought to be woodland foxes but this one is especially so.
She has an embroidered felt vest. It closes with laces. I didn’t take it off and show the dress because the dress top is plain and the laces are fussy to get just right.
I love this spiderweb-by knit shawl. Perfect for her.

I love the color of his corduroy jacket. It works perfectly with his orange color.
He’s got a hankie in his pocket for cleaning any dust off the lens.
This was a fun little guy to make. He has a two-toned corduroy jacket, a bright blue backpack, and a red cashmere scarf. None of that would be good for camouflage in the forest but I love the bright colors!
