I’m off on a walk Girl

1-25-girl 2 - 1

This girl has got it all together and she is off to do her thing. Which happens to maybe? involve a sketch book and pencil that is in her backpack.

Here she is with her things- I took her shirt off so you can see the top part of her “underwear”.

The shirt buttons up the front but it can be hard to see.

little girl with a unicorn dress

1-24-little girl 1 - 2 (1)

These little girls are my most labor-intensive dolls. January is a good time to get back to them, when all the Holiday madness is finished and the cold weather keeps me in the house. This first little one has a lovely double-gauze dress with Heather Ross illustration- Unicorns! ♥

Kitty girl- black, white, and red

I knew we were getting snow today. By the time I finished anything yesterday, it was too dark to take photos. I rushed out this morning to take some pics before the flakes started to fall but even though I was being speedy, I didn’t get all the photos I needed. Now, the snow is so pretty! I can finish the pics tomorrow :-)

Folk Art-y Fox girl

11-29- fox girl 7 - 1

This is the last fox for now. This fox girl started out with her awesome dress. I love this fabric so much that I had to do a massive internet search to track down some more!

After her dress was finished, it was a challenge to figure out what else she needed. I felt like I was dealing with a fashion-opinionated teenager… although I’m not sure if that describes her or me. I tried a wool coat and a cape before I was happy with this wool felt jacket.

I’ve never made wool felt clothing for my dolls (just details like collars and pockets) but this worked out beautifully and it was fun to try out.
