Lots of cashmere applique on this lady. Almost all of the embellishments are bits cut from cashmere sweaters. The boucle fabric that her dress is made of was fabric from my Mom’s stash. I will be working through her fabrics for the rest of my life!

I wanted to play with all my cashmere bits so this lady’s applique is almost all cashmere and so soft.

I was just about to go outside to take photos and it started to rain. Oh well, time to improvise. I took the pics in the garage instead and that is why there is a little more shadowing than usual. Hope that’s not all TMI!

More ladies on the work table, but this time they are pillow lady dolls. Up first is a blue bird lady.
She has fancy boots.
Our pumpkin is still hanging out on the porch- no squirrels snacking on it and not frost yet. The frost is coming soon according to my weather report, so instead of show prep, I am digging up dahlias and carrying potted plants into the house. It is nice and sunny today so that makes being outside no chore at all.
