Time for some fish. I wanted to make some quick and easy fish pillows after more than a month of the tattooed ladies!
She is #12 of the ladies and the last one for now. That is a lot of the same pattern for me- I get bored easily!
Embroidered leaves/ferns and an owl face button. Also, fancy shoe laces!
I wasn’t 100% happy with either of the next 2 photos but maybe they even out. One doesn’t show her hands and the other is too dark. Oh well!
Another lady with her Day of the Dead skeleton tattoos and flowers in her hair.
I like how the bra fabric is cross-hatched and it matches the drawing on the tattoos.
She has a skull button too.
She has silk ribbon “flowers” in her hair, skeleton tattoos, and a skull button on her belt.
I got my first Covid vaccine today and I am so happy! What a relief.
She was one of the first that I got started on but then I got distracted! All the dolls are whispering, Me Next!
This is a beautiful toile with lots of leafy plants. I gave her an antique button with a flower on it. I hope you can see.
And a close-up of her hair-
I bet she is cold! I sure am :-)
Snow Crone is what she is to me- icy stars in her white hair. She can be someone else to you. That is the way I think about it.
She has stars in her hair and one on her belt.
After no ladies for so long, now I’m up to #7 of this batch and more to come!
She has fancy embroidered hair.
And a little brass bow that I found many years ago in a bead shop in NYC.
All the ladies are going into my Etsy shop as I finish them. She will be there by this evening.
I am having such a good time with all these lovely ladies!
Fancy boot laces!
A close-up of the back-
Yes, she does look pretty cold out there :-)
I must be dreaming of Spring. I have made lots of Green Men and it got me thinking so here is my trying something new lady.
She has crazy leafy hair!
An embroidered belt and green slippers.
