Houndstooth.

And the darker brown owl- he is shaggy.

He has herringbone too.

Lots of textures and patterns! The only fabric that isn’t reclaimed clothing fabric is the hood.

I started to put some owls together but was then struck down by some kind of bug. I am slowly getting better- better enough today to take some photos.
These 2 owls are of the Rusty Orange Owl family :-)
Owl 1-

And Owl 2-

This one has a soft cashmere tummy.

She is the last one for now.

This photo is a little washed out- she has pink skin and green eyes.

She has a scalloped collar on her coat-

I got started with this design, thinking about heart-shaped leaves. And it goes from there!

The back is plain except around the neckline.

And why is she a “Fairy” Grandmother? Here are her wings-

I hope the trim around her neck looks like little puffy clouds.

Close-ups-

Little hands-

Flower shoes-

How do you like her cable sweater hair? :-)

It is fun to pick out the fabrics for the kitties- fuzzy, tweedy, knit.

All the kitties and then some close-ups.

Little shoes with bows.

She is looking for the elusive birds, hiding in the leaves.

She has sweet little boots.

A curl in her hair. And a cloud collar.

This is sort of a combination Tiny World pincushion and Lady Pillow doll :-)
Smoke on her shoulder-

And her little boots.

I will be putting these 3 into my etsy shop today.

It is fun to be back to make my ladies! They all feel a little like self-portraits :-)

Assorted kitties. And a toy mouse!
