I bought this fabric a few years ago, knowing I had to make a doggy skirt out of it.
It is a little odd to be dressing up these pups in sweaters and scarves in the middle of summer!
She has a wool felt collar and cuffs, a cashmere skirt, and a silk ribbon at her ear. And a slightly cranky expression…
I’ve got pugs lined up on the worktable.
First one finished-
Little curly tail-
All the snow is apparently inspiring me to use some really bright colors!
He has a VERY bright yellow scarf, wool/angora blend which means soft and fuzzy.
You can’t see his curly little tail- a problem when photographing black.
And, hanging out with a friend.
We are expecting another snow storm tomorrow and I will be putting these into my Etsy shop then.
And here is #4 pug- a boy in plaid.
He has some bright red felt buttons.
He doesn’t want to go out in the snow!
I am teaching Tiny Worlds Pin Cushions this weekend (Jan 31 and Feb 1) in Cambridge and Owls (Feb 15) in 2 weeks. There is still room in both classes if you are interested!
My favorite color combination.
She has a red cashmere kerchief and a Fair Isle sweater with green felt buttons.
Little curly tail.
Another pug, this one is soft colors and also soft textures! She is all soft cashmere and wool/angora blend!
And yes, we got snow- lots and lots and lots of snow. I took her photo in the same place as the polka dot pug, just to give you an idea. The snow makes me thankful that I work at home and don’t have to worry about the messes it causes- no parking, slow traffic, slippery roads. I can just appreciate how pretty it looks for now.
I suddenly just needed to make something with polka dots!
And tonight we are getting a blizzard so there will be a lot of white backgrounds for a while!
