I love how this little fox looks so innocent and maybe a little lost. I can never predict how the expressions will turn out. Doll faces come from a part of my brain that I am not in full contact with!

I dressed this black kitty using this witch girl as an inspiration so now they are quite the pair!
It is fun to do a different twist on the same idea.
Owl dress, cashmere sweater, vintage black lace and antique glass buttons. greys and black.
I had someone ask about a man with white hair. I found the PERFECT fabric and now I am excited to make more. And I will make more but just not right now. I am going to work on some other designs for a bit- cats and foxes I think. In the meantime, look at that hair!

This fellow has much woodsier tattoos. Both of these Greenmen were cut from the same fabric. It is all about choosing which images go where.
Here is the real life, behind-the-scenes, photo-making yesterday. I’ve got to make it work after 3 days of wet and snowy weather! I will put these fellows into my etsy shop later today.
This Greenman’s tattoos are of a Stag hunt- maybe not the most appropriate imagery for a nature spirit? Oh well, I am going to imagine that the stag escape and lived to a ripe old age.
I bought some new variegated threads from Sue Spargo and I am having fun trying them out.
I worked on making this an Asian man to go with the chinoiserie toile tattoos.
