And the last Merman for now
He is all around darker than the last one- Dark flesh tone, darker hair, darker eyes-
He has a beautiful mermaid on his chest and a button with an anchor at his belt.
He has a little tail fin. And a top knot/man bun.

This merman swam off to his new home this weekend!
Here is a close-up of the stitching on his face.

Are you in the Chicago area? This weekend is a busy one including Open House Chicago, an architectural tour. The building I live in is part of the tour and we have put together an art show with 12 artists in the building.

Green Merman
I am hoping his hair looks like it is moving in a current.
He has beads on the ends of his beard.
Tall ships and more tall ships! A green glass button and an embroidered rickrack belt-
Silver-y Tailed Merman
I love these African fabrics with slightly sparkly, metallic designs. This one makes me think of a seaweed forest.
And this batik fabric looks like bubbles- perfect for a merman’s beard.

Yes, he has a man-bun.
And now for some Mermen
Flamingos and aqua hair- he is a tropical merman for sure.
He has little beads on the end of his beard. This is the back of his hair-
Flamingos and Palms. He has a fish bead and silver rickrack at his waist.
The last Lumberjack for now
He has some awesome tattoos- A rooster on his belly and a goat on his arm. I think he is trying to tell us something.
