More skeletons and more African Wax fabric. I think this is the first African wax fabric I came into and has inspired the collecting of all the others!
Brown skin and orange hair.

No African Wax fabric on this fellow but he has an awesome batik fabric beard and fins.
His button is like sea glass.
More African wax fabric- it is so inspiring!
Ships and more ships.
I’ve been working on all the different stages of mermen. I have a few sewed up and ready to finish. I will post them as I get them done. I also cut out a whole lot of new mermen bodies (and also some other fellows) and I’m in the middle of dyeing them up. Here is the first merman finished-
I am excited about some new African Wax Print fabrics that I bought recently- I think they will make amazing merman tails.
His blue “skin” is a bit mottled but I decided that was fine for a merman. I just love the fish!
These are the last of the pieces that didn’t get posted before the show.
2 Snowy owls,
2 black, gray, and white owls,
and 3 more with brown in them. These are the ones that are left after the show.
I am working hard to get everything listed into my etsy shop– hopefully I will have that done by the end of today.
Here are some nature pics :-)
She is out to shop at the farmers market with her favorite basket.
A lacy shawl, a cashmere pullover sweater, and a skirt with all the animals.
Her basket and the stuff in it.
I ran out of time to post all the doll before the show last weekend. I was sewing and finishing, right up to the last minute.
Her skirt is made from Laura Ashley fabric that I am sure I have had since the 70’s.
What a sweet face!
A wool sweater, little purse, and a tin cicada pin. Pretty fancy!
I have loads of new pieces to list into my etsy shop this week- kitties, fax girls, fish, and owls. I better get to work!
We are coming to the deadline here… tomorrow we start packing the van. I’ve got more to post though so there will be more dolls, even when I am at the show!
I am sewing sewing sewing like a mad woman- Having a deadline is very inspiring! Just a few more days until I pack up a van and head out to Northampton.
He is a dapper fellow with a very dark navy cashmere sweater, a striped jacket, and a messenger bag.
You might notice that I have gotten into cats having fish for their lunch!
This is the last cat for now. I am frantically making this for Paradise City Arts Festival this coming weekend. On to the next thing!
