I’m not really a pink person but this pink fish is making me happy :-) And the white and gray plaid fish is a new combo for me.

Two Autumn fish!
It has been a while since I posted anything! A giant yard sale happened and was a big success. Various relatives have come and gone- people want to come visit before we move to Chicago. Unfortunately the relatives brought germs and I’m just getting over a week + of nastiness. I have been getting some work done but not enough, considering I have the Paradise Show coming up in just a few weeks. Yikes!
I figured I get some fish worked up since they are relatively quick and make me feel like I am accomplishing something. First up a blue fish and a blue-green fish.

He has a hat, a pipe, and a sweater vest.

And a bowtie!

This is the last dog for a while. I will try to get them all into my shop in the next day.

She is my folktale puppy girl and she is out in the forest, for a day of mushroom hunting.

Hmm, which is my “good side”?

So many hearts, so many flowers.

Side note: my dahlias are finally blooming. Not all of them yet, but enough to make some bouquets.

She has had a pretty good haul so far!

He has excellent Autumn color clothes.

His vest is a beautiful tweedy green.

He is hanging out in my jungle corner.

Her clothes, not her fur!

The pup gave me such a hard time with her outfit! I made 2 shirts for her that got rejected, and a corduroy jacket. Finally we agreed on this.

Her purse has a metal bird bead, hanging from the strap.

Bold striped jacket, Liberty vest, and a leather messenger bag. Now that’s some fashion!

She has her binoculars and super soft cashmere sweater.

She has her special bird shirt on.

Her bag has a notebook to list all the birds she’s seen.

Some treasures are being uncovered as I clean out the attic. I found this awesome 80/90’s cowboy fabric and figured it was time to make a cowboy dog. Then I uncovered a box of leather pieces and the plan came together.

I yearned for a fringed vest or jacket as a teen. I thought they were SO cool 🤣
He has a snack in his bag.

The cowboy hat was what I was most worried about but I’m very happy with how it turned out.

He has “surprised” ears!

She has a sunhat, a gardening apron, and a basket of flowers. Also, a soft cashmere sweater and a garden journal.

I’m having fun with the hats again. I wanted a better way to keep them on the doggie heads and I figured out I can Make a loop around the ears. More hats ahead!

She has a flowery Liberty lawn shirt. Her basket is filled with little (cloth) flowers, mostly from vintage hats.
