Two more fish
One high-fashion fish and one orange houndstooth. High-fashion, you are wondering? Yes!
This fish fabric was given to me in a bin filled with someone’s cleared out fabric stash. This was the label pinned to it-
Pretty fancy, eh?! Hermes! I love how it started at $150, but eventually got to $32 a yard. That must have still been very expensive in the time when they were still using these kind of labels.
And the Orange Fish-
There are some little fin stitches to keep the fin in place.
Two Blue Fish
This one is made from some rough Mexican fabric in a beautiful dark aqua.
I made fish this week
A grey and pink one and a light purple one.
And the last Merman for now
He is all around darker than the last one- Dark flesh tone, darker hair, darker eyes-
He has a beautiful mermaid on his chest and a button with an anchor at his belt.
He has a little tail fin. And a top knot/man bun.

Are you in the Chicago area? This weekend is a busy one including Open House Chicago, an architectural tour. The building I live in is part of the tour and we have put together an art show with 12 artists in the building.
