He has little black french knot “buttons” although you can hardly see them. His ears are super-soft angora blend.

I have been saving this kitty fabric for a long time. I knew I would find the perfect use eventually.

She is made from a printed knit. That was a thing for a while, right? I have a selection of them in my stash. This one is a brown on brown floral knit but you can’t really see the pattern now that it is all cut out and resewed into something new. I love that.

Happy dog!

I haven’t been putting any of these pups into my Etsy shop yet because I am going to LA next week and will be pulling all the dolls out of my shop since I won’t be around to ship them. If you see one that you are interested in, send me an email- mimik@pobox.com- and I will send you all the details. Also, if you have some great LA advise, I’d love to hear it!

It has been many years since I cleared the fabric from my Mom’s attic, but I am still using it. This orange-y tweedy plaid was hers. She had made a suit with it, I seem to remember. Now, new life to the scraps.

black curly boy dog

I find it incredibly difficult to get a decent photo of a black fabric piece. These are the best I could do. He is a lot cuter in real life.

This photo shows him best-

Here are 2 over-exposed photos that show the details of his face.
