Curious World of Peculiar Dolls
I was very excited to be asked to participate in this online gallery show at the Poetic Tiger Gallery. I made a green haired Merman for the show.
He has a curly beard and buns in his hair. Also, a big old cow and a sheep on his chest.

And the other 2 Fish
This’ll be the last of the batch of fish I made for the pop-up- moving on to finishing the cats I started in December.
This one looks almost black but is a very dark green. I got the green and white fabric at an estate sale of a fashion sewist. The houndstooth is at least partially angora- it has that soft fuzziness to it.
2 Fish, Houndstooth and Stripes
The top fish is black, gray, and black and navy stripes. The bottom fish is black and white houndstooth, gray, and white.
The fish are “swimming” on my new (to me) studio love seat. It is so nice to have a comfy place to sit!

Yesterday, some friends in my building organized an afternoon pop up and I pull all the goodies out for a show.

A Very Serious Cat
While I was working on him, I was thinking that he looked like a serious business cat. Maybe it is the dark grey wool flannel.
I gave him a tie, not a bow tie, because he is serious!
And now you can see his vest- I am pretending it is fair isle knit :-)
Is anyone watching Game of Wool on YouTube? I know there has been a lot of hate directed toward it, but I am especially enjoying seeing what the knitters are wearing. It is inspiring me!
This fellow is my 97th of the year. I am going to try to finish 3 more things next week so I can get to 100!
