The Fall has been beautiful this year in my neighborhood. Walking through all the colors inspired me to make this lady.
Lots of variegated embroidery threads got used :-)
This fellow got finished at the perfect time of year. This fabric is both Day of the Dead and Christmas. I should probably do some research to learn more. What I know for sure is that it is gorgeous.
I think my favorite image is the little skeleton angels.
He has glittery gold rick rack on his belt. The rick rack is left-over from my days making kids costumes.
Happy Halloween everybody!
I had a request for a snowy owl and I’m getting ready for my owls class tomorrow. Yes, these 2 things go together. I have pulled out all the owl fabrics and I always need to do a refresher when I am going to teach. Result? I have 4 snowy owls to show.
This one is so so soft. Cashmere body, cashmere wings, alpaca tummy.
This second one is a bit creamier in color and still very soft.
Wool, wool/angora blend, alpaca.
