here comes the …

Bride and Groom!

I know I usually have a bunch of photos, but not today. I have a brand new computer (Yeah!) but there is always a learning curve. I can’t figure out how to make the new IPhoto do what I knew how to do in the old one (Boo). And, I am simply too busy with the show prep to spend a few hours on it. So, later.

But, just so you know, his vest matches her dress. A perfect couple.

Fox in plaid

I wanted to make another fox based on this guy. I love that guy! I’d used up all the madras so I moved on to to 70’s plaids that I have in my stash (Thanks Mom!). I love this plaid. I made myself a shirt from it last summer so we might match when we get to Renegade Market in Brooklyn.

His vest is made from a shirt of my Dad’s- probably 60’s era.

Heather swaddled baby

I’m in the mood to make some more swaddled babies. It has been a year since I’ve done any. I went back and looked at some of my favorites and used one as inspiration for this sweet sleeping baby.

I enjoy the fun of fitting the birds together like a puzzle.

So, I’ve got one done! I’ve got more stuffed and another with the appliques cut out and basted on. But, now I am working on foxes. It is that time of year.

I am making myself frantic getting ready for the Renegade Market in Brooklyn– 2 more weeks!. I probably will not be posting anything else to my Etsy shop until after the show. But, if you are interested in buying something that I post here, just shoot me an email. I am always happy to sell directly.

and the winner is…

#92, Betty from Kentucky! Congratulations! And thanks so much to everyone who entered.

and a garden picture so this post will have some color.

I’m off for a quick trip to Connecticut but I will be back to work by mid-week.

I am going to try to get the Generals into my Etsy shop soon.

I am getting my summer plans firmed up. Brooklyn Renegade- I will be in the NY area from June 22 to June 26

and San Francisco Renegade- I’ll be in the SF area from July 19 to July 27. WooHoo, a vacation!

General 4

I had coffee with Lilla this morning. Always an interesting, enlightening and energizing conversation!

Who is that man in red on the table you ask? He is the final General. I did it! I finished them up by the end of the week! Here he is-

And here are all four, all together.

Now onto something new.

Today is the last day to enter the give-away– I will announce the winner over the weekend.
