This fellow is made from some over-dyed Laura Ashley fabric that I have had in my stash since the 70’s. Yes, it’s true, I never throw anything away. When I was last sorting through the fabric drawers and came across it, I realized it would make good medieval-looking tattoos.
We had a few days of Spring this week. It makes one hopeful.

I’ll be posting a group of tattooed people but none will be available until after the Smithsonian Craft Show. I am in full production mode, sewing like a demon if demons sew… I’m not so sure about that. Anyway, nothing available until May 1.

The ocean and snowy tiny worlds are rarer because I have to find the right kind of cup to put them in. Somehow, flower designs don’t work for me and they are what I find most when I am in the thrift store.
Forget-Me-Nots and Lily of the Valley decorate this cup.
This is a glass sugar bowl, I think? It came with a creamer which I will make into something another day.
A bright yellow house. It is fun to use the same cup and using the colors of the decoration, come up with a variety of designs.

Winter in Boston didn’t show up this year until March! We had enough snow to cover the ground yesterday but it was pretty much all gone by this morning. I will be happy if I don’t see any more real snow until next November at the earliest.
This kind of snow I can deal with. And OOPS! Ignore that hair on my snowy hill!

I am working hard to have a good selection of my work for the Smithsonian Show. I will be at the opening gala in less than 3 weeks! Because I am so focused on getting ready for the show, I won’t be putting anything new into my Etsy shop until May 1.

I went to a tag sale at a church in my neighborhood and someone had apparently donated their collection of violet decorated teacups. You will be seeing several pincushions ahead with violets!
