White and brown snowy owl.
And grey wings. This one is very stripe-y in its’ textures.
I had a request for a snowy owl and I’m getting ready for my owls class tomorrow. Yes, these 2 things go together. I have pulled out all the owl fabrics and I always need to do a refresher when I am going to teach. Result? I have 4 snowy owls to show.
This one is so so soft. Cashmere body, cashmere wings, alpaca tummy.
This second one is a bit creamier in color and still very soft.
Wool, wool/angora blend, alpaca.
Next Saturday is the Owl Class at my house in Arlington, MA. There is still room if you are interested! All info here. I hope you can come!
I’m back to the men for this week and then owls because of my upcoming class.
Today’s man-
He has an axe too but I forgot to photograph him with it. Grrr. I am sitting here deciding if I should wait to rephotograph him before posting, which would mean tomorrow, or just get on with it. Guess which one I went with.
He has a little wooden button belt buckle.
I just had to make a snow scene before I finished this batch.
Now this last one had to get made because somehow I always end up with 13 and I’m superstitious… I know, crazy. So I had to make one more.
Okay, so that’s it for now. I will be trying to get them all into my etsy shop in the next few days. Everything is now listed in the shop!
Also, a reminder- The Owl class is in 2 weeks. Come and join the fun!
I am almost finished with the Tiny World pincushions. Two more after this and hopefully there will be a little dry weather tomorrow to take photos.
This one is made on a beautiful cup which has unfortunately lost it’s saucer. A very lovely lady in Washington DC gave me 2 of them when I was doing the Smithsonian Show. I am so happy to give them a new purpose.
